There is no room for doubt about the necessity of blood in emergency situations. There are no substitutes for blood, platelets or plasma—they cannot be manufactured. Patients in need of blood or blood products must rely on donations from people .One donation can save multiple lives. Just one donation can save up to three lives. More than One million people every year are diagnosed with cancer for the first time. Many of them will need blood—sometimes daily—during chemotherapy. Through this blood donation project, we ensure the safety and quality of blood, educate people about the benefits of blood donation, and also increase people's awareness about the importance of voluntary, unpaid blood donation. In the Indian society by following the tradition it is the responsibility of parents to marry off girls. there was a time when it was assumed that an unmarried girl was a burden for her family. The parents had to go to great lengths to meet the dowry demands of the girl's marriage, sometimes parents sell all of their property for marriage. The situation has changed now. Now, with the change of era, girls have become educated and self-reliant, so parents of all levels of the society have the desire to give their girls' marriage by themselves, even if they do not consider girls as a burden.
But the parents of our society n ever want to leave the chance to make their daughter happy on the wedding day, the picture of poor parents make our eyes wet. The empty pockets of poor and helpless parents are blocked by that desire. As we are promised to spread happiness among all, to fulfil the hope of those parents, we make happen this "Kanya Bivah Bandhan Project". Through our project, first we have conducted enquiry on application, after that we bear all the expenses on the wedding day of financially backward parents of the society. We have taken the pledge to stand by the parents with responsibility, starting from the wedding hall, the priest to the dinner, the daughter's farewell from the transport service.
Accordingly, we are currently receiving many applications from people from all over West Bengal including Kolkata. We hope that this project, which started in 2023, will gain a greater scope in the future.
We know that there are three basic needs in human life such as Food, clothing and shelter. Our organization always put effort on the basic needs of the people living below the poverty line. Besides of ensuring food and shelter for living a life, cloth is also need to protect us from hot summer to coldest night. We held several distribution camp among the needy people not only in the time of emergency situations like flood, earthquake or land slide, we also celebrate festivals by giving cloths. Just as our efforts have given warmth to many people in winter by distributing blankets, the sarees or clothes given by us on Durga Puja, Kali Puja or Christmas have put a smile on the faces of orphan children, village girls or old women. Through-out the year we are conducting several surveys, according to that we have organized cloth distribution programes for children of Orphanage and helpless old age people of Old Age Homes in different season or different festivals. And this selfless smile is the success of our project.
Cultural and educational awareness can help us understand and appreciate different cultures. Culture is vital for education as it shapes values, beliefs, and societal norms that influence learning experiences. Increasing education and cultural awareness is a very important program in India today and one of our responsibilities as a voluntary organization. Cultural awareness can help us understand our own worldviews and heritage, and how the cultures we engage with impact who we are. Awareness can help us improve our ability to communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds. Education plays a major role in preserving culture by passing it down from one generation to the next. we organize various educational and cultural awareness camps. A large proportion of people living below the poverty line cannot spending on education due to lack of funds. Especially girls are more victims of this neglect. Through various camps we create awareness among parents and along with this we distribute educational materials completely free of cost to help them. Besides, we have been working on education awareness among the young generation and their overall development. It is one of our responsibilities to maintain the continuity of our own culture and patronize it. Throughout the year we organize drawing, dance-singing, recitation competitions. Through this, the enthusiasm among the children and young women increases and the continuity of our project is maintained. We are continuing our efforts to keep this project running all over India including West Bengal and hope to achieve success in the coming days.
Millions of people live in the bosom of the world. Just as many children are born in this city every day, as many people die for various reasons. Some people die due to accidents or physical illness and some people leave us due to old age.
Due to the lack of money or manpower, the relatives have to become directionless. There are also many people who are unable to bring their loved one's dead body from the hospital to their home due to lack of money, and it is a luxury to complete the last rites there. Not only the financial insufficiency but the old age people of busy cities of developing countries have not any relatives or children at their side at the time or after death. Keeping in mind all these situations, our project is to help common people.
Through this project we provide completely free hearses which facilitate transportation of deceased from hospital to home and from home to crematorium. If the condition of the deceased's family is very deplorable, then we arrange the last rites from our organization. We always promised to our society that we never ignore or walk back from our responsibilities. Our Organization considers itself as reliever for the deprived or needy people in this selfish world. In the future, we are moving forward with the goal that the benefits of this project will reach the needy people of the entire India.
