NGOs act as implementers, catalysts, and partners .As a Non-profitable Organisation of private citizens with a shared interest in assisting disaster victims we choose to play a significant role in disaster response, mitigation, disaster reduction, and recovery, as well as coordination.Natural Disasters are naturally occurring physical phenomena caused either by rapid or slow onset events that have immediate impacts on human health and secondary impacts causing further death and suffering. These can be Geophysical like Earthquakes, Landslides, Tsunamis and Volcanic Activity, Hydrological (e.g. Avalanches and Floods), Climatological such as Extreme Temperatures, Drought and Wildfires, Meteorological (e.g. Cyclones and Storms/Wave Surges) and can be Biological such as Disease Epidemics and Insect/Animal Plagues. We are working on all of these situations.The Emergency relief and assistance during or immediately after a disaster is affective to save lives, reduce health impacts, ensure public safety and meet the basic subsistence needs of the people affected. We mobilize resources to provide goods and services to people who have been affected by a natural disaster; we tackle problems and address human needs. During any kind of disaster, we always have to do a fast response and try to save as many lives as we can, according our capability. The key role performed by us were providing relief materials, organizing health camps, being involved in the rescue operations, arranging dry foods, plant based raw material of food, essential commodities, drinking water and so on.� As part of our promise we tried to ensured essential commodities for the weaker section of our society in various areas of different district of west Bengal to save them from hunger at the crucial period of lockdown (COVID-19).� To ensure food for migrant labourers to save them from fasting we distribute food among them� At the time of Cyclone (like Amphan) we supplied food, essential commodities and drinking water to the helpless and poor people living in affected areas.� We held almost 32 Camps in all over West Bengal from the start to now at time of emergency� We provide immediate assistance to maintain life, improve health and support the morale of the affected population
